Hello, I'm Claire and thank you for taking the time to look at my website.

I am a photographer based in Colden Common, near Winchester in Hampshire.

 

I have always loved photography, for as long as I can remember I have enjoyed looking at photos and taking them. I believe that photography is such an important way of helping us to remember people, places and events that are important to us.  As well as being a photographer I am a proud mum to two beautiful girls. They are my world and thanks to them and the love, support and encouragement from my family, I have been able to embark on an exciting new career as a children’s photographer.

 

Everyone always says that children grow up too fast and it's true! It's so easy to forget exactly what our children looked like when they were babies and to remember how small they really were. I love the fact that I can help people capture these special moments and key milestones to ensure they can be remembered and treasured for years to come.

I believe continual professional development is important to provide the best possible service to my clients.  I have attended numerous training courses, including some with The Trained Eye which really helped enhance my all-round ability as a photographer, supported by specific newborn courses.  Most notably I have trained with the award winning photographer Tracy Willis refining my newborn shoots.

 

I am fully insured and safety is of key importance to me when carrying out any photoshoot.

I also have a lot of experience of working with children, firstly from having my own but also as a qualified secondary school teacher. I’m aware of the importance of creating a safe and secure environment for children to relax and behave naturally.
